Back to Children and Youth
The Jonah rotation continues for grade school ages. Ruth
will follow in November. Please see the sign-up on the office
window in fellowship hall to teach a workshop on our annual
theme of Open & Affirming.
The nursery is a great place to hold babies and play with
toddlers. Please sign up on the sheet outside the nursery.
Upcoming Youth Events
Nov. 16th- Simpson Sunday during church, grades 6 and 7.
Nov 23rd- Grades 6-12: Breakfast Club during church with
Lynnhurst. Bring a few bucks if you want to buy a
drink/snack.
Our general youth group schedule for the upcoming year is
as follows:
In addition, this year we will be participating in several
TRUST events, yet to be determined, so watch for that
information as well. December 7, will be the Aliveness
Project (shopping at Target for someone in need).

Our general youth group schedule for the upcoming year is
as follows:
- Sixth through 12th grades will gather with Lynnhurst
UCC youth on the second and fourth Sundays
of the month.
- On the second Sunday of the month, we will
meet after worship for an activity/event. More
information will follow when these events are set; our
first Sunday will be Oct 12.
- On the fourth Sunday of the month, at 10:00 a.
m. we will meet at church to carpool or walk to Java
Jacks, Dunn Brothers or Brueggers for Breakfast
Club. This will be a time to hang out, talk about what
is important to us and what’s going on in our lives
and the world. Junior and Senior High will be divided
so they may have their own conversations. Bring a
little money if you’d like something to eat or drink.
Our first meeting will be October 26, and we will be
deciding on our events for coming year; bring ideas
of what you would like to do.
- On the third Sunday of the month, 6th & 7th
graders will meet during worship for Simpson’s
Sundays. This will be a time when we view a
Simpson episode or other media presentation and
look at it with our church values. It’s only the
Simpson’s who pray at every meal on TV! We will
begin in September.
